For the people who look fine on paper, but know something needs to change
Responsible. Thoughtful. Usually the one other people lean on. And still, something feels heavier than it should.
Some of the people I work with are the last ones you'd expect. They care about their relationships, their faith, and who they're becoming. They don't want to look back and realize they scrolled their life away.
Some are quietly managing anxiety or OCD. Some are burned out or carrying trauma they've never fully processed. Others feel numb, like they couldn't tell you what they're feeling even if they tried. A lot of them wrestle with the fear that they're falling behind, missing it, or becoming someone they never meant to be.
I'm Jennae. I work with teens and adults who are ready to understand what's really going on and move forward without fear running the show.
How I Work
Structured, collaborative therapy with room for faith, doubt, and the truth about what's actually hard.

How I work.
Therapy with me is structured and collaborative. I draw primarily from ACT and CBT, which means we pay attention to the thoughts that hook you, the avoidance patterns that feel protective, the nervous system responses that start to make sense once you understand them, and the values that actually matter to you.

What changes.
Over time, clients often understand their patterns instead of being blindsided by them, notice anxiety without letting it take the driver's seat, and make decisions based on their values rather than fear. The goal is not perfection. It's steadiness, honesty, and a different relationship with what used to run the show.

Faith and therapy.
Faith matters deeply to me. I don't believe in praying feelings away or using spirituality to avoid what's actually happening. If your relationship with Jesus is central to you, that matters here. If your faith feels complicated or distant, that's welcome too. My hope is that your emotional and spiritual life feel integrated rather than working against each other.

A little more about me
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, but I've been living in South Korea for the past eight years. My background is in theology and counseling, which explains a lot about how I ended up here.
I'm pretty laid back, laugh easily, and try not to take life too seriously. When I'm not in session, I'm usually chasing my two boys, on a volleyball court, or finding my way to a coffee shop.
